On June 7, Russia accused Ukraine of disrupting the exchange of bodies and prisoners. The head of the Russian delegation at the talks in Istanbul, Vladimir Medinsky, said that on June 6, “the first batch of frozen bodies of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, 1,212 in number, had already arrived in refrigerated trucks in the exchange area.” The Russian official insisted that the Ukrainian side had unexpectedly postponed the exchange “for an indefinite period.”
Ukraine responded to these statements by Russia , noting that they do not correspond to reality and previous agreements.
