💬 ‘Quiet horror’ in Belgorod, ignoring #Kharkiv being bombed right across the border.
Is this a joke, New York Times?
The article ignores cause and effect entirely, to paint an unfairly sympathetic image of the country that started the war.
💥 For example, the article mentions “an attack on Belgorod’s central square” but fails to mention that it’s Russia who is routinely bombing its own city (often by accident) but blames #Ukraine every time
🙄 And of course, they somehow manage to blame Ukrainians for the war and situation Russia created too:
“Half of Belgorod residents are Ukrainians,” he said. “The more things escalated, and people were subjected to propaganda, they developed h@tred. And now, of course, the majority is in favor of war.”
It’s insane how the writers never mention WHY the citizens of Belgorod are frozen from horrors of war – Kharkiv has come under daily fire FROM Belgorod for over two years now.
Imagine:

Everyone already knows war bad.

I wish Sir Arthur “Bomber” Harris was still around today.
His methods would have him prosecuted at the ICC nowadays. War crimes are not the right answer to Putinstan. Destroying its military capability is. The AFU is already doing a great job, but more shells and missiles would be nice. 🤨
