New military facility being built in Belarus near border with Ukraine, and tracks being prepared for military trains
In the Gomel Oblast of Belarus, a few dozen kilometers from the border with Ukraine, large-scale construction of railway infrastructure is underway. The main purpose of the project is to ensure the rapid and large-scale unloading of heavy wheeled and tracked armored vehicles directly from military trains. It was reported by the Belarusian service of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
According to project documentation obtained by the Belarusian Railway Workers’ Union, the client for the project—officially titled “Construction of a Training Ground in the Gomel Oblast”—is the Belarusian “Military Design Institute.” Near the village of Yakymivka, a separate access track is being built, designed to accommodate 60 railcars at a time, as well as a specialized loading platform with a ramp for rapid unloading operations.
This infrastructure is part of a larger military complex. Since late 2023, construction of a new base has been underway near Gomel. On state cadastral maps, its eastern part is marked as a “military town,” and the western part as a “training and tactical field.” Construction of some of the town’s buildings was completed in June 2026, and work is now focused on the railroad junction.
The 37th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Belarusian Special Operations Forces is expected to be stationed at the new training ground. This unit was formed in 2025 on the orders of Aleksandr Lukashenko’s regime under the pretext of “strengthening the southern front” and allegedly protecting against threats from Ukraine.
It should be recalled that, meanwhile, Belarus’s self-proclaimed president, Aleksandr Lukashenko, announced on Ukraine’s Independence Day his desire to resume “mutually beneficial cooperation.”
Also in June, Lukashenko stated that he had met with representatives of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Minsk.

He started with false flag terror attacks in the Moscow oblast, blamed them on Chechnya and unleashed a genocidal war on the Chechens, inserting his own terror boss as dictator after murdering one third of the entire population. He then thieved 20% of Georgia and met mush instead of steel from the West.
He then started a terror war in Syria using the same tactics that he uses now in Ukraine: bombing schools, hospitals, churches, aid convoys, old people’s homes, apartment complexes, basically anything civilian.
On thieving Crimea in 2014, he again met mush and unleashed huge scale genocide in 2022.
He won’t stop until he dies.
It’s time that every country that identifies as civilised started putting boots on the ground and warplanes in the air of Ukraine.
We should all understand that currently the U.S. is part of the putler axis of evil and should plan accordingly.
