Earlier it was reported that France transferred the first Armement Air-Sol Modulaire to Ukraine.

A video has emerged that confirms the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ use of the new French Armement Air-Sol Modulaire (AASM) bombs, also known as Hammers . This was reported by the resource Clash Report .
“French AASM-250 glide bombs were used for the first time by Ukrainian troops to strike the Avdiivka coke plant, controlled by the Russian Armed Forces,” the report said.
It is unknown from what type of aircraft Ukraine used these bombs. To correct and record the results, a UAV from one of the Armed Forces units was used.

AASM – what kind of weapon is it?
AASM was developed by specialists from the French company Safran Electronics & Defense. The basic version of the ammunition consists of a nose module with a guidance system and a tail module, which has fins and a rocket accelerator.
All this is attached to a conventional unguided 250 kg bomb. It is assumed that Hammer can hit targets at a range of about 70 km.
The cost of one AASM set in 2011 was approximately 160 thousand euros. Regular ammunition carriers include the French Mirage 2000D attack aircraft and the Dassault Rafale multi-role fighter.
Let us recall that earlier the Minister of the French Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu said that Ukrainian MiG-29 fighters and Su-24 front-line bombers were adapted to the new AASM bombs . The first deliveries of Armement Air-Sol Modulaire were also reported. The exact number of Hammers transferred by France is unknown.
