“Neutrality”, refusal of reparations and “rights of Russian speakers”: Russia voiced five demands to Ukraine in Istanbul, – media

During the negotiations in Istanbul on May 16, the head of the Russian delegation, an aide to the Russian dictator, Vladimir Medinsky, voiced a number of maximalist demands from Moscow to Ukrainian representatives.

This is reported by  Clash Report, informs Censor.NET.

It is noted that the Russian delegation demanded that Ukraine declare a “neutral status” similar to the model of neutrality of Austria . This implies the rejection of the presence of foreign troops and the deployment of weapons of mass destruction on Ukrainian territory.

The second demand made by the Russians is that both countries abandon their mutual claims for reparations, in particular compensation for the destruction caused by the war.

The third is “the rights of Russian speakers.” The Russian delegation reportedly stated that Ukraine must ensure “European standards” for the protection of the rights of national minorities and stop “nationalist propaganda.”

The fourth demand, according to Clash Report, is “recognition of territories”: Ukraine allegedly should not deny the “constitutional” claims of the Russian Federation to five Ukrainian regions (Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporizhia, and Crimea), and the Kremlin also seeks international “recognition” of the occupied territories.

The Kremlin also demanded the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “from all five regions claimed by Russia,” the publication writes.

  1. Not even a nation that was soundly defeated completely, would agree to those terms. Death to the end would be better.
Because of the tiny dictator, all ruSSians must die

  2. There were no negotiations, just a list of demands by the terrorist state. As for the clown threatening to take more Ukrainian Oblasts, you don’t even the control the ones you are claiming to be russian.

    • The Moskali had a chance for a ceasefire but could only demand things that are impossible. It shows they are not serious so who will believe them next time?

      • The twisted logic of the Moskali is something to behold. They are in a worse position than they were 3 years back, yet still expect Ukraine to capitulate.
