As a result of counterintelligence measures, Azerbaijan’s State Security Service prevented terrorist attacks being planned by the agents of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
This was reported by Day.Az, citing Azerbaijan’s State Security Service.
According to the publication, the Iranian agents targeted strategic facilities — the Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline, the Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan, one of the leaders of the Mountain Jews religious community, and the Ashkenazi synagogue. Iranian agents brought three explosive devices into the country, which they planned to hand over to perpetrators to blow up specific targets.
Relations between Azerbaijan and Iran have deteriorated after two Iranian Arash-2 strike drones attacked the Nakhchivan airport in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan.
These drones are significantly larger than the Shahed-136 and carry a warhead weighing up to 150 kg. According to the country’s Ministry of Defense, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s armed forces sent four drones to attack the Nakhchivan region.

The ministry said that one of the drones was directed by the Iranian military at a school where children were present. However, the drone did not reach its target and exploded near the building. Another drone was destroyed by the Azerbaijani army.
After the attack, the country demanded that Iran provide a clear explanation of the incident as soon as possible, conduct an appropriate investigation, and take the necessary urgent measures to prevent similar attacks in the future.
At the same time, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev instructed the armed forces to prepare appropriate measures in response to the attack by Iran.

It looks like Azerbaijan might be forced to retaliate against the mullah regime.
The longer the iran war lasts, the more this planet destabilizes.
