NEGOTIATING WITH PUTIN

Are Ukrainians ready to negotiate to give up their territories to stop the war with russia? All poll shows that no. Most Ukrainians are not willing to give up any territories for peace with russia.

So, the next time you hear the russian propaganda that Zelenskyy doesn’t want to negotiate, know that it is Ukrainian people who don’t want to negotiate with the terrorist state. Why? I see at least five reasons.

1️⃣ Diplomatic reason. Russia lies and their diplomacy cannot be trusted. Starting with Budapest memorandum, where russia agreed to protect Ukrianian sovereignty, and ending with hundreds of direct lies from Kremlin, such as “we are not going to attack Ukraine.” They lie all the time. So, any diplomatic guarantees by Russia are not worth a dime.

2️⃣ Strategic reason. Russia will use the time out to rebuild its army for the next war. Any peace with russia at this stage is a strategic defeat, since russia will simply use the peace time to rebuild its army and prepare to attack Ukraine or some other countries.

3️⃣ The need for a regime change. Any “face-keeping” solution for Putin would mean that his regime would remain. Russia will turn into a North Korea for the coming decades. Only after a total defeat in Ukraine, the political forces which pushed for the invasion and radical aggression, will have lost all credibility. This will enable business elites, administration and those parts of military and security services who warned earlier of the risks of an invasion of Ukraine to gain upper hand.

4️⃣ Punish nuclear blackmailing. Some are concerned of russia using nuclear weapons. Let me put it bluntly, as soon as we give in to nuclear blackmailing, we are done. Then any country with nuclear weapons can take the territory of another country and ensure victory by threatening the rest of the world. Moreover, it would mean that all the countries of the world should join the race of obtaining nuclear weapons! The only way to stop this madness is to punish russia severely for nuclear blackmailing.

5️⃣ Moral reason. Leaving territories under russian control means handing millions of Ukrainians over to russian despotism, the repeat of gulag and holodomor. Russia has clearly stated why they started this war – to eliminate Ukraine. Period. Timothy Snyder, a distinguished historian at Yale University, has clearly outlined the evidence of russia committing genocide. The russian official press agency RIA Novosti has explicitly published a program for the complete elimination of the Ukrainian nation, openly calling for genocide.

Therefore, it is not surprising that Ukrainians don’t want to give up their territories to stop the war with russia. They don’t want a “peace” which would lead to annihilation of Ukrainians. Only russian total defeat guarantees the security of Europe. Full military support for Ukraine therefore is not only about protecting Ukraine, it is also about protecting the future peace of the free world.

I can’t imagine what it is like to have my country attacked and territory conquered by a brutal dictator. But I know my parents generation stood firm against Hitler and Mussolini and then Stalin. Many in the UK wanted to capitulate but many more understood that to consider any sort of agreement would be an agreement with the devil that you know will end badly, with the country eventually being ruled by Hitlers puppets. I know if I was Ukrainian I would never concede an inch of ground. Stand and fight to the last or until the enemy PooTin is removed from power, ideally by his own people, and sent to The Hague in chains, followed by full reparations for damages and compensation from Moscow! There is no other option. We in the free world must support freedom and justice for Ukraine. If my father and his generation had not stood and fought for freedom, where would we be now.

Putin is not planning for eventual retirement. Putin knows that the International Criminal Court in the Hague is waiting for him. Because he is a tyrannical dictator the safest course for him personally is to hold on to power, whatever the cost. The greatest danger to him is internal. He counteracts it with international brigandry by enflaming imperial ambitions of his subjects he treats like serfs and cannon fodder.

Thus, his remaining in power depends on maintaining perpetual crisis situations (in order to create delusions of being perpetually indispensable). Putin has been generating one crisis after another whether or not he had had means for that.

History teaches that appeasement does not work with dictators like Hitler or Putin.
PUTIN MUST BE STOPPED WHERE HE IS NOW! A victory in Ukraine is the only feasible way to achieve that.

It is of GREAT IMPORTANCE THAT THE CONGRESS PROVIDES UKRAINE WITH AMPLE, MORE THAN SUFFICIENT QUANTITIES OF RIGHT KINDS OF WEAPONS. The time scale for this is YESTERDAY!!!

I am positively certain that Ukraine will get back every territory the Russians have encroached upon. It will take time. We Believers have faith in Divine Intervention and that’s what we are praying for when men reach at their wit’s end. In Jesus’s Mighty Name. Amen and Amen.

If it’s true that the Republican party is blocking this vital aid package to Ukraine, they have blood on their hands. Unfortunately, Trump supporters are deliberately ignoring the bigger picture. Where is their sense of responsibility for the lives of other humans?

Would US give up Alaska if the Tsar decides that is a former Russian Empire territory that must be returned to motherland in order to avoid a nuclear conflict? Some will say that America can be great again by making it smaller.
