Since the beginning of the full-scale war, law enforcement officers have exposed about 100 sabotage and reconnaissance groups in Ukraine and detained more than 1,600 people presumed to be involved in conducting sabotage.
Source: Yevhenii Yenin, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, during the 24/7 national joint newscast
Details: Yenin noted that Ukrainian citizens sometimes leak information to the Russian occupying forces for up to 10,000 hryvnias [about US$300].
Quote: “Our citizens enter into cooperation with the Russians for some 5,000-10,000 hryvnias. In exchange for this money, they provide them with information about the location of military facilities and checkpoints, and information about the sites of missile strikes.
Treason for $300 is almost like 30 pieces of silver. And the prospect of spending the next 15 years in a small cell.”
More details: At the same time, Yenin noted that the operations carried out by the police and the Security Service of Ukraine to expose these people are pretty effective.

Too lenient, these traitors don’t deserve to be fed and kept in a warm dry prison. Mine clearing or stringing up is the punishment that should be handed out.
I’m glad that Ukraine is on top of things to flush these rats out. I agree with foccusser, though. Fifteen years is too lenient for treason and causing death and destruction to their own people and military. They should be strung up, shot or sent ahead of UA troops during an infantry attack.
I think Ukraine was very much prepared and on top of the problem right from the beginning.
