They are billed as analogous to Article 5, but the texts use the word “assurances” rather than “guarantees.” The documents are not legally binding. The US response to a possible new Russian attack will depend on how “significant” and “prolonged” it is.
Sixty percent is good, one hundred percent is better. But, that is coming, for sure.
