Russian President Vladimir Putin once again resorted to Ukraine’s public ultimatums against the background of the recognition of militants in ORDLO. He said that Ukraine can still “restore relations with the Russian Federation,” but there are several conditions.

He stated this during a press conference on February 22.

Putin said that Ukraine should recognize the “will” of the Crimeans in a pseudo-referendum, and therefore recognize Crimea as part of the Russian Federation.

“The first thing everyone needs to do is recognize the will of the people living in Sevastopol and Crimea,” he said.

Putin stressed that his second demand is that Ukraine refuse to join NATO and implement the idea of neutrality.

Putin believes that the demilitarization  of Ukraine will be able to reduce the tension between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, because “the issue of Donbass is no longer relevant.”

“The most important point is the known degree of demilitarization of today’s Ukraine, since this is the only objectively controllable factor that can be observed and reacted to,” he said.

  1. Acceptable demands. Ukraine must survive. Crimea is gone anyway, and fuckers like Hungary and Germany will keep blocking Ukraine from joining Nato.

      • I think Putin does not want to fuck Russia for life. He could have taken all of Ukraine with ease already. I would trust Putin more than the West which stabbed Ukraine in the back eight years long. Ukraine cannot survive being enemies with RuSSia forever. It’s either going West without Nato membership and lost territories or the end of all dreams.

    • Bullshit, this is an ultimatum of war. He is demanding Ukraine change the constitution and give up weapons. WTF? That’s not going to happen, Ukrainians will not return to the gulags.

Russia invaded Ukraine, how about you restoring relations with Ukraine by removing all your Russian trash out of Ukraine?

  3. Kind of hard to restore relations with the one who trespass i think, and it’s Putins Russia who need to restore relations with Ukraine and not the contrary.

So stupid, if he is that eager to prevent influence from Nato and the EU he could have start with trying to offer ukrainians something better instead of this aggressive and destructive behaviour and attitude.

I don’t like the EU or Nato my self but Ukraine is an independent nation and they must start to accept this reality in Moscow.
