In the Republic of Karelia, Russian occupier Andrei Tkachenko, who was one of the close associates of the head of the private military company “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin , was found dead .
As the Russian Telergam channel VChK-OGPU writes , Tkachenko participated in the war against Ukraine until the summer of this year. In October, he came to the region with friends and his eight-year-old son to go fishing. On October 28, Tkachenko, his friend and his son went out on a boat to Lake Segozero, they were 400 meters from the shore:
“Soon a frightened child swam to shore (he was in shock), and a little later the body of Tkachenko’s friend washed up there.”
On Sunday, November 3, rescuers found Tkachenko’s body in the lake. According to the channel, the man carried out “the most shadowy” tasks for Prigozhin. For example, he supervised a number of special projects in Africa, and also kept an eye on the family of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
Tkachenko was caught while spying on Lavrov’s son-in-law. He was threatened with treason, so he began to testify against Prigozhin and the head of his security service, Alexander Maloletko. The name of the head of Wagner was simply “thrown out” of the case, but his “right hand” was brought to justice. After that, he promised to take revenge on Tkachenko.
