The defense forces are trying to prevent the occupiers from leaving the city.
The city of Myrnohrad in the Donetsk region is almost completely under the control of Russian occupation forces. The enemy has deployed a command post, artillery, and headquarters there.
This was reported by Ukrayinska Pravda , citing an unnamed officer assigned to that area. It is noted that fighting is currently taking place in the north of the city, near the railway depot, as well as in the north of the neighboring village of Svitloe.

“In another part of the city, there’s already artillery, vehicles, pilots—everything you can imagine. Things are building up seriously. We expect mechanized assaults from the enemy soon. As for headquarters, they’re moving their headquarters from Novogrodivka to Myrnohrad. There’s also a command post in Myrnohrad; we saw civilians and their belongings being escorted out,” the source told journalists.

At the same time, the report states that the defense of the northern part of Myrnohrad “is made virtually impossible by enemy control over the skies—both by aircraft and drones.” Furthermore, entry routes into the city have long been in a “gray zone.”
There has been no order for the Defense Forces to leave Myrnohrad yet, UP adds.
