‘Musk participated in Trump’s phone call with Zelensky’

American entrepreneur Elon Musk participated in the recent phone call between newly elected President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the American news site Axios reports. The call between Trump and Zelensky lasted about 25 minutes.

After Zelensky congratulated Trump, the president-elect said he would support Ukraine, without going into details.

Musk added that he plans to continue supporting Ukraine through his Starlink satellites, Axios’ sources said. Starlink is one of the ventures of billionaire Musk, who also owns SpaceX and X, formerly Twitter. Starlink’s satellite system has been crucial to Ukraine’s war effort against Russia, experts say.

Observers expect Musk to play a role in Trump’s yet-to-be-formed administration, perhaps as an advisor. Musk supported Trump during his successful re-election campaign, both with donations and speeches at rallies.

  1. “After Zelensky congratulated Trump, the president-elect said he would support Ukraine, without going into details.”

    What can that mean?
A continuation of the failed trickledown policy?
    Unlikely.
A massive no strings attached increase in military support?
    Unlikely. Unfortunately.
An offer to freeze the “conflict?”
    Quite likely. Unfortunately.
An offer to give “land for peace?”
    Very likely. Unfortunately.
Something else no one has thought of?
    Possible but very unlikely.
