Elon Musk has ordered the suspension of a Yale University team that helped rescue hundreds of Ukrainian children kidnapped by Russia, the Mirror reports .
Until now, the US government had been funding a team of researchers at the Yale Humanities Research Lab to track missing Ukrainian children using open-source technology. The experts shared their findings with Ukrainian authorities to help bring the children home.
The Yale team is said to have helped bring back hundreds of children. However, their work has been suspended due to Elon Musk cutting federal funding.
