Mr. Musk Has a Tell.

In Washington, politics is poker. Look for the tells.

If you have followed his public behavior, personal relationships and professional decision making, certain patterns emerge.

When his own actions are on shaky ground and he is publicly challenged for lying to the public, Elon Musk tends to make violent statements and take frighteningly aggressive actions.

So when he uses X to declare “contempt” for those who suggest his own behavior may very well be causing pain and suffering in Ukraine, and he responds by shouting moral equivalence between Russia and Ukraine, and telling the world that he hopes his critics “all burn in Hell,” realize that far more going on than Mr. Musk is willing to admit.

And now the world is waking up to a fundamental question: Should the national security of America and the West, including the lives of tens of millions, be entrusted to a man who can flip a button because he is angry – causing nations to fall and people to die?
