Chants supporting Reza Pahlavi, the exiled Crown Prince now living in the United States, are growing louder as years of hyperinflation, economic collapse, corruption, and repression push the country past a breaking point.
The regime has responded with force. Protesters are already being killed in the streets. Former U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that Iran will face devastating consequences if the regime continues to massacre civilians, sharply raising international tensions as the situation escalates.
The fallout extends far beyond Iran. In Russia, a major Kremlin propagandist has turned against the Putin regime, signaling fractures within Moscow’s information apparatus. On the battlefield, Russia’s military degradation continues, with the expanded deployment of soldiers on horseback at the front highlighting severe equipment and manpower shortages.
Meanwhile, Russian disinformation operations in Europe are intensifying, with AI-generated propaganda targeting Poland, including fabricated women urging Poles to vote to leave the European Union. These efforts come as Bulgaria formally joins the eurozone, strengthening European integration despite Kremlin pressure.
In Ukraine, Russia’s campaign of terror continues unabated. Russian forces have bombed a zoo in Kharkiv, another attack underscoring Moscow’s deliberate targeting of civilian life.
