The Russians are again accusing Ukraine of violations.

The Russian Federation commented on the United States’ hopes that Kyiv and Moscow will continue the ” Easter truce ” after the holidays.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, accused the Ukrainian side in her Telegram channel of not observing the silence during Easter, allegedly using American HIMARS rocket artillery systems:

“But this is not a coincidence, but a pattern, because during the moratorium on strikes on the fuel and energy complex, Zelensky, who agreed to it, targeted civilian energy infrastructure.”

Truce in Ukraine

As a reminder, yesterday, Kremlin ruler Putin initiated and officially announced an ” Easter truce ,” which was supposedly supposed to come into effect for the holiday period.

It soon became known that Russian occupation forces continued shelling Ukrainian territories, striking infrastructure.

This evening, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Moscow had broken its promise of silence on all major front lines. He proposed extending the “truce” on long-range  drone and missile attacks  on civilian infrastructure.
