The Federation Council is already threatening a world war.

The Federation Council of the Russian Federation stated that lifting the ban on long-range strikes against Russia would allegedly lead to the start of a major world war.
First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs Vladimir Dzhabarov called Washington’s decision “an unprecedented step” to which Moscow will respond “immediately”:
“This is a very big step towards the beginning of the third world war and the Americans will do it with the hands of a retiring old man who will no longer be responsible for anything in two months.”
And the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, stated that Kremlin ruler Putin has already spoken out on this topic.
What Putin Said About Long-Range Strikes
Let us recall that in September he stated that permission to strike Russian territory with long-range missiles would mean NATO’s “direct participation” in the war.
The Kremlin ruler said that Ukrainian troops allegedly cannot strike deep into the Russian Federation on their own – for this they need to use intelligence data from foreign satellites, as well as involve military personnel from NATO countries.
Putin added that Russia would make “appropriate decisions taking into account the threats that will be created for us” if the West lifted restrictions on such strikes.
