The Moscow Oil Refinery provides 40-50% of Moscow’s needs for diesel and gasoline.
During a large-scale night attack, the Defense Forces accurately hit the Moscow Oil Refinery and other strategic facilities on Russian territory. This was reported in a message from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the social network Facebook .

It is noted that units of the Unmanned Systems Forces and Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, on the night of March 11, struck a number of strategic Russian facilities involved in supporting armed aggression against Ukraine.
“In particular, a hit was recorded on the production capacity of the Moscow Oil Refinery, which is capable of processing 11 million tons of oil per year and provides 40-50% of Moscow’s needs for diesel and gasoline,” the report notes.
Explosions were also recorded in the area of the linear production control station “Stalnoy Kon” (Oryol region of the Russian Federation), which ensures control of technological processes of the Druzhba oil pipeline and is an important component in the processes of oil delivery to the terminal of the Ust-Luga seaport, which is in the Leningrad region.
In addition, it is known from open sources that as a result of the actions of the Russian aggressor’s air defense, a number of civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
Large-scale attack on Russia
As UNIAN reported, Russia reported a massive drone attack on many regions, including Moscow. The attack was also reported in the Samara Region and Tatarstan, drones were shot down over the Vladimir, Tula, Kaluga and Ryazan Regions.
Authorities reported that 73 drones were shot down in the Moscow region. In total, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, 337 drones were shot down overnight, making the attack the largest in 2025.
After the attack, the Russian State Duma called on dictator Vladimir Putin to urgently strike Ukraine with “Oreshnik” .
