In mid-August, the mayor of the Russian capital, Sobyanin, announced that Moscow would become the leader in recruiting contract soldiers.
Recruitment centers for the war in Ukraine have opened at Moscow metro stations . According to The Moscow Times , one such center has opened at the Slavyansky Bulvar station. At the same time, according to activist Paulina Safronova, another recruitment center for contract soldiers has opened at the Khovrino metro station.
It is noted that in mid-August, the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said that Moscow would send 23,000 people to the war in Ukraine this year and would become the leader in recruiting contract soldiers among Russian regions. At the end of July, he issued a decree increasing the one-time payment for signing a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry to 1.9 million rubles. The amount became a record for Russian regions, until St. Petersburg began paying 2.1 million rubles.
“The decision to increase payments in Moscow was connected with the reduction in the number of people willing to go to war. … According to the Unified Selection Point for Contract Service, from mid-summer 2023 to early August 2024, interest in contracts with the Russian Defense Ministry declined. Thus, in August 2023, more than 3,000 people agreed to participate in the war, and in June 2024, just over a thousand,” the publication summarizes.

There is no shortage of fascist vermin willing to murder Ukrainian children for money.
That is why I continually advocated two million combat troops for Ukraine. Any shortfall can be made up with foreign volunteers and mercs.
Where are the long lines?
The only long lines are under Lavrov’s nose.
