The management of the Russian state bank VTB has transferred most of the employees of its central office, located in the Zapad tower in Moscow City, to remote work.

In a message sent to bank employees on Friday evening, the reason for this decision was the threat of attacks by Ukrainian drones, writes the Russian publication The Bell, citing two sources close to the bank and an employee of another company with an office in the City.
According to one of the sources, bank units have been allowed to keep no more than 20% of their staff in the office. The restriction is currently in place for two weeks.
A number of Russian Telegram channels also report that companies and organizations with offices in the Moscow City skyscrapers are moving employees to remote work, fearing strikes by Ukrainian drones in the coming weeks.
However, some companies believe that the danger is not that serious, and plan to limit themselves to a ban on visiting the office at night.
At the same time, sources for The Bell in one of the ministries, whose office is located in Moscow City, as well as in the companies Ozon and Sber, told us that they have not yet introduced any restrictions.
In the summer of 2023, drones attacked Moscow City twice in a short period of time. On the night of July 30, two drones crashed into the office building housing the offices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Economic Development, and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Russia. The Oko-2 tower and the IQ-Kvartal skyscraper were damaged. Another drone crashed into the same building on the night of August 1 of the same year.
In April, Russian propagandists at RIA Novosti published a video showing Russian military personnel directing drones at targets in Ukraine from premises rented at Moscow City. The agency later deleted the video.
According to official data, Russian air defense systems have shot down 103 aircraft-type drones over the territory of the Russian Federation over the past 24 hours.

russians don’t appear to have much faith in their vaunted air defence systems. I also doubt Ukraine will attack civilian infrastructure, there are far more important targets, and Ukrainians are not terrorists, unlike mafia land.
A move to impress the ruskie sheep. If they had any brains, they would see right through this ruse, since Ukraine never attacks civilians, like their deeply criminal military does every day and night.
Ukraine has limited ammo. Wasting it on civilian targets would make no sense at all. This is complete bullshit.
