Kirill Budanov stated that North Korean soldiers are currently undergoing training in Russia, but will soon be used at the front.

About 11,000 North Korean troops are undergoing training in the east of the Russian Federation, said Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry. According to him, they will be ready for war in Ukraine by November 1.

The DPRK troops will use Russian equipment and ammunition,  The War Zone reports, citing Budanov. In addition, the head of the GUR noted that about 2,500 North Korean soldiers will be sent to the Kursk region, while it remains unknown where the rest of the military will be sent. “Right now we don’t have a complete picture,” Budanov noted.
