This is the deal with the Russian view on the world: this country thinks that if they are able to hide a lie every other country can do that.

But in Ukraine, you can’t hide something as big as the death of 200 soldiers traveling in a train. Ukrainian support of our army and government stands on trust.

It is very difficult to gain the trust of so many people and it is so easy to lose it. This is why Ukrainian officials reported losses of our soldiers in the training centers, e.g. in Chernihiv oblast a couple of months back. People wouldn’t keep silent in Ukraine if they see such a lie from the officials. No matter how high their rank is.

In Chaplyne, there were only civilians on the train. They were traveling on their business. Trying to get home to celebrate our 31st Independence Day. 22 people were reported dead, 31 – injured. The Russian missiles did that: Russian officials have already acknowledged the hit.

Another war crime from Russian Federation. Another lie they fed to their citizens who happily digested it.

Do you still have a business which brings money to the Russian economy? Then, it is your doing too.

Do you still support Russia? Then, it is your doing too.

This won’t be forgotten, trust me.

And we will always remember those who helped us in this war of my country’s survival.
