“Montana 300”: Special Operations Forces brought their wounded comrade out from behind enemy lines (video)

10/15/2026

We are releasing footage of a special operation conducted by a unit of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) in the Slobozhanskyi direction—an engagement that resulted in an SOF operator sustaining a gunshot wound and his subsequent rescue.

An SOF team covertly infiltrated the Russian rear, where they located an enemy position and launched a raid. During the direct action, two occupiers were eliminated; however, one of the Ukrainian special operators sustained a gunshot wound in the exchange.

At the moment he was hit, the SOF operator did not cry out or make a sound, ensuring the enemy remained unaware of the situation. Using hand signals, he alerted his team to the injury, applied a tourniquet to himself, and continued to hold his sector.

Under the threat of enemy drones, a Special Operations Forces (SOF) team carried an operator out of the "red zone," performed a secondary assessment of the wounded man, and checked and adjusted his tourniquet. The evacuation lasted many hours; had the team’s combat medic not restored blood circulation to the operator's leg, the limb would have required amputation.

It is precisely because of such scenarios that the SOF maintains high standards of training, proficiency, and mental resilience.

Operating behind enemy lines—isolated from friendly forces—and successfully extracting a wounded comrade after a battle is a task that demands physical endurance, a mastery of protocols, the availability of all necessary equipment, a high level of professionalism, and much more.

The video contains no musical accompaniment; it preserves the original dialogue and specific segments showing the provision of assistance.
