The day before, June 4, the Defense Forces on the front line eliminated 1,280 Russian invaders. Thus, the Russian Federation’s losses in manpower during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine reached 513,700 people.
Dozens of enemy military equipment and weapons were also destroyed, including 40 artillery systems. Updated data on Russia’s losses in the war against Ukraine on the morning of June 5 were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The day before, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 12 Russian tanks (bringing enemy losses in this type of equipment to 7,806 units). Also destroyed were 16 armored combat vehicles (15,036 in total), 40 artillery systems (13,385) and three air defense systems (830 in total destroyed).
The number of destroyed Russian MLRS (1092 units lost by the Russian Federation), aircraft (357), helicopters (326), ships/boats (27) remained unchanged compared to the previous report on enemy losses.
The day before, 39 enemy UAVs of the operational-tactical level were destroyed (10,805 in total), and two cruise missiles (2,270).
The enemy also missed 69 units of trucks (18,297) and 12 units of special (2,223) equipment.
Let us remind you that the other day the Defense Forces hit an enemy S-300/400 battery near Belgorod. ISW called this strike a landmark one. The fact is that the Russian S-300/400 was located approximately 60 km from the current front line in the north of the Kharkov region and more than 80 km from Kharkov itself. So, analysts say, this is within the range of HIMARS, but exceeds the range of other MLRS systems that Ukrainian forces are reportedly using to hit the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.
