Ukraine has finalized and handed over to the US a draft memorandum on economic partnership between the countries. This was reported to a UNIAN correspondent by the Ukrainian delegation.
“During a telephone conversation on Wednesday, Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump agreed that Ukraine would finalize the draft memorandum on partnership and hand it over to the Americans. Ukraine handed over the document and the American side asked for time until 17:00 on Friday to work on it,” the delegation reported.
As UNIAN reported, on February 12, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent in Kyiv. They discussed Ukraine’s resource potential and economic security guarantees for Ukrainians.
In particular, the discussion focused on the preparation of a document on economic partnership between Ukraine and the United States.
