According to Svyrydenko, the creation of the Investment Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine is currently being prepared.

Ukraine and the United States of America have signed a memorandum , which is a step towards an economic partnership agreement. This was announced by the Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

“Today, we took a step towards a joint Economic Partnership Agreement with the United States. Ukraine and the United States of America signed a Memorandum, which testifies to the constructive joint work of our teams and the intention to finalize and conclude an agreement that will be beneficial to both our peoples,” the minister said in a statement .

According to Svyrydenko, the creation of the Investment Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine is currently being prepared. The agreement will open up opportunities for attracting “significant investments, infrastructure modernization, and mutually beneficial partnership between Ukraine and the United States.” The minister noted that it is with this goal in mind that the teams are working on the document.

“It is important that we confirm with our agreements the desire of the American people to invest together with the Ukrainian people in a free, sovereign, and secure Ukraine. Ahead is the finalization of the text of the agreement and its signing. And then – ratification by parliaments,” she added. 

The memorandum was signed online. On the American side, the document was signed by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant. 

In fact, this document confirms the intention to sign a mineral agreement.
