The 30-hour “Easter truce” declared by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is another trap. Most soldiers on the front lines have not felt it. 

This is reported by the DeepState project , which interviewed about fifty servicemen on the front line. The so-called “truce” from the Russians is practically not felt anywhere. From 18:00 to 22:00 on April 19, shelling and assaults by the enemy were still recorded at the front.

“Orikhov, Kamyanske – artillery arriving, enemy drones are working. Burlatske – shelling continues. Andriivka and Oleksiivka – shelling. It has calmed down a bit in the area of ​​Nadiivka and Kotlyarivka. Uspenivka – assault actions. South Pokrovska – mortar shelling of positions every 20-30 minutes. North of Toretska – artillery and assaults. Chasiv Yar and the southern face – shelling. Lymansky direction – intensity has decreased. Kupyansk area – shelling. Figolivka – calmed down for now. Lyptsi – shelling,” the report says. 

There is indeed silence in some areas. But we must also take into account that today is Saturday and the enemy gives part of its forces a rest during the weekend.

The shelling of peaceful settlements in Ukraine also continues. Dobropillya and Kherson were hit. 

The authors emphasize that a ceasefire cannot be unilateral, and its implementation must be agreed upon in advance by the parties. Moscow is now trying to present itself as a “peacemaker” in the eyes of the United States and show that it is capable of “stopping hostilities on its own,” without Ukraine’s participation. 

“If our people shoot back, and a response is given, then we will be accused of violating agreements that we did not agree on.
