Military drone spotted over critical infrastructure in Germany – Bild

According to journalists, the police suspect Russian agents.

As Bild writes , police stations and the public prosecutor’s office were put on alert because of a hostile object – probably a military drone that could belong to the Russian Federation. In addition, in recent days, several drones have flown over a decommissioned nuclear power plant and a liquefied natural gas terminal in the city of Brunsbüttel.

“The no-fly zone was violated several times by flying over the nuclear power plant. An enemy object, believed to be a military drone, was captured,” an internal police report said.

The Flensburg public prosecutor’s office is investigating intelligence activities aimed at sabotage. According to journalists, the drones were attributed to Russian agents. They could have been launched from civilian ships in the North Sea.
