Russian aviation losses
According to the Ukrainian General Staff of the Armed Forces, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has lost 372 aircraft and 336 helicopters.
These losses include various types of aircraft, including Su-25 attack aircraft, Su-30 and Su-34 fighters, and Ka-52 attack helicopters .
A significant portion of the losses were caused by Ukrainian air defense actions, including the use of air defense systems and man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems.
In addition, during the war, military aircraft and helicopters repeatedly crashed on the territory of the Russian Federation itself . The occupiers usually attributed this to technical malfunctions.
