The Melitopol airfield as a military base of the Russian invaders no longer exists – it was destroyed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was announced by the mayor of the city Ivan Fedorov on the air of the national telethon.

“It can be said that the Melitopol airfield as a military base of the Rashists no longer exists: from three in the morning after the first shelling, they began to evacuate all personnel from there, after the second massive shelling – at six in the morning – they began to evacuate all the equipment that had survived,” he said. he.

According to him, the invaders carried out the evacuation until 9-10 am, and after that there was not a single person. “We hope that they will never return there again,” the mayor of Melitopol expressed his hope.

According to Fedorov, a few hours after the morning shelling, there was a detonation at this base, but fortunately, not a single civilian was injured. Russian invaders, according to the mayor, suffered several dozen.

In addition, Fedorov said that in the evening there was another shelling near Melitopol in the village of Mirnoye, where the enemies also seized the territory of the former military base. After that, the Russians also began to take out their equipment from there.

As UNIAN reported earlier today, it became known that in occupied Melitopol, the Russians  surrounded the building of a local hospital, where they are taking the wounded as a result of the morning  strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on an enemy military base at the city’s airfield .

  1. I hope that a hell of a lot of cockroaches and cockroach material was smoked by the attacks.

    • “…in occupied Melitopol, the Russians surrounded the building of a local hospital, where they are taking the wounded as a result of the morning strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on an enemy military base at the city’s airfield ”

I wonder if they would do that only if a general was hurt?

      • Sounds fishy to me. Maybe they are afraid of the partisans, since partisan activity is quite strong in this city. Maybe you’re right and a higher officer/s was/were hurt, and so they undertook this precaution.
