Medvedev is confident that Russia will win the war against Ukraine.
Russia is currently at a very important stage in ending the war against Ukraine, former Russian President and Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said, Russian media reports.
“We are really now at a very important stage of completing the ‘special military operation’ (a propaganda euphemism used to describe Russia’s invasion of Ukraine – UNIAN). And I am sure that you will contribute to our victory,” he said, addressing the young Russian occupiers before sending them to the front.
Medvedev acknowledged that the decision to participate in the war against Ukraine was “not an easy one and carries risks.” However, he assured that it supposedly “underlines true love for one’s homeland.”
“The only thing I would like to tell you is: Take care of yourself. We need victory, but not at any cost,” Medvedev added.
