In Kyiv, the number of victims after a large-scale missile strike by Russia in the early morning of March 21 increased to 12 people, the KGVA reported .

Among the victims is a child. 79 people were evacuated. Rescuers, police officers, and psychologists are working on the ground, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine noted .

It is indicated that all fires in the capital have been extinguished.

According to the service, explosions occurred in Podolsk, Shevchenko and Svyatoshinsky districts:

Podolsk district : at one address, a fire broke out in a two-story building on an area of ​​30 square meters. m. The first floor and partly the second were destroyed. At another address, a fire broke out in a transformer substation, and at another address, a fire broke out in a warehouse building on an area of ​​150 square meters. m.

Shevchenkivskyi district : at one address a fire broke out in an apartment on the 5th floor of a 6-story residential building. There was also a fire in 3 cars in the area and windows of an apartment building were damaged.

Svyatoshinsky district : windows in a residential building were damaged.

177 rescuers and 38 units of fire and rescue equipment worked on the ground.

As added to the KGVA, information about the dead people in Kiev was not received.
