Gas, heat and hot water will not be supplied to residents of the region from January 1.
Against the backdrop of the termination of Russian gas transit through Ukraine, residents of the unrecognized Transnistria were warned about the disconnection of gas and heat. This was reported by the press service of Tiraspoltransgaz-Pridnestrovie LLC and NewsMaker .
“Tiraspoltransgaz-Pridnestrovie” named, in particular, the objects that should be disconnected from gas supply. These are boiler houses that provide heating, private houses, apartment buildings with autonomous heating.
The announced date and time of the shutdown is January 1, 2025, 12 noon local time.
They also add that in apartment buildings, gas for cooking will only be available until the pressure in the network drops to a critical level.
In addition, “Tirasteploenergo” reported that in Transnistria, the supply of heat and hot water to residential buildings was stopped at 7 a.m. The exception is hospitals and social institutions.
