Many drones flew to Ryazan. Local publics wrote about UAV flights and explosions, and eyewitnesses posted footage of fires that broke out as a result of hits.

There is information about a fire on the territory of the oil refinery. Also, according to Russian media, there was a loud noise in the area of the Dyagilevo airbase.

The Voronezh region also heard powerful explosions. It is preliminary known about the fire as a result of the work of Russian air defense.

In Lipetsk, local residents reported an attack on a military airfield.

Another airfield was visited by unknown drones in Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Krasnodar Krai, from where the Russians launch “Shaheds” at Ukraine. After the night attack, satellites recorded a strong fire there.

Drones attacked the Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refinery near Samara. The moment the drone landed, after which a fiery “mushroom” rose over the plant, was filmed by Russians.

And in Penza, UAVs hit the Elektropribor plant, which is important for the Russian military-industrial complex. Local authorities said that there was a dead person and two injured. Propagandists insist that all drones were “destroyed.”

In the Rostov region at night, unknown drones continued their traditional knocking out of the enemy’s strategic railway logistics infrastructure : the Likhaya-Zamchalovo traction and current substation was attacked. As of the morning of August 2, it continued to burn.

Feodosia was under attack by UAVs for several hours, explosions were heard. After them, a fire broke out in the area of the oil depot.

Explosions were also heard in Kerch. The Crimean Bridge was closed from 23:50 on August 1.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that from the evening of the previous day until 04:40 on August 2, 112 aircraft-type drones were allegedly “shot down,” in particular:

  • 34 – over the territory of the Rostov region,
  • 31 – over the territory of Krasnodar Krai,
  • 12 – over the territory of the Voronezh region,
  • 11 – over the territory of the Ryazan region,
  • 5 – over the territory of the Samara region,
  • 4 – over the territory of the Penza region,
  • 2 – over the territory of the Belgorod region,
  • 1 UAV each over occupied Crimea and over Lipetsk Oblast,
  • 11 UAVs – over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the night of August 1, residents of the Russian city of Taganrog, in the Rostov region, witnessed a large-scale drone attack . Explosions were heard there, and combat helicopters were circling above the city.

  1. What a lovely night for the warmongers and criminals. I hope many targets intercepted the Ukrainian drones and got obliterated.

  2. There are some loud explosions caused by the drone debris. It’s good to see oil refineries back on the menu again.
