“Marco Rubio said “The old world is gone.” It’s gone because Donald Trump blew it up.”
🇺🇸 Mark Kelly is basically saying the quiet part out loud: the big rupture is not that Europe suddenly changed its values, or that democracies woke up and decided alliances are boring.
The rupture is that the #UnitedStates under Donald Trump started vandalising the very system that overwhelmingly benefited America for decades.
☝️ And that matters, because people keep framing this like “the world is different now.” Sure, russia is still doing what it has always done when it thinks it can get away with it: attacking neighbours, lyiпg about it, and daring the West to blink. That is not some new era. That is the same ugly playbook with different dates.
What is genuinely new is Washington choosing unpredictability as a brand, and treating allies like optional subscriptions. That is why Mark Kelly’s “take generations” line hits. Trust is slow to build and ridiculously fast to destroy, especially when the destruction is deliberate and public.
🧭 So yes, the core point stands: Trump is the variable. The rest of the democratic world is largely trying to keep the old logic alive, rules, alliances, deterrence, support for #Ukraine, while also scrambling to build a backup plan because the US is acting like a flaky partner.
That is exactly the vibe coming out of the Munich Security Conference right now: #Europe talking more openly about self reliance because it no longer knows what America will do next.
If you want the blunt version: russia is a bruтal, corrupт aggressoг. But Trump is the one handing them the strategic gift, by turning allied unity into a question mark.
That is why this feels like the end of an era. Not because the world suddenly stopped believing in alliances, but because the country that built the alliance system is now flirting with burning it down.

Donald Trump is the first President of the USA to threatened to attack NATO allies Canada and Denmark and Greenland. His party remained largely silent. With friends like these…

But the end game is still to be played.
Putin made a huge mistake in running into an Ukrainian Wall, destroying its own economy and the relations with Europe. And giving NATO a new strenght at the same time. And begging China for mercy.
Trump did the same mistake in trying to ”run over” Europe with tariffs, threats and insults. And choosing Russias side in The Ukrainian war.
Now, a new (old) strong player enter the game – Europe.
Fast grewing innovative military development, trade deals with India, Mercosur,.. and a political identity and unity with almost a billion followers (including UK, Other Europeans, Canada, Australia, new friends in Eurasian States).
They both really screwed up.
…….,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Zelensky has to “get moving?”
☝️ Since last year, Zelensky has agreed to #USA’s mineral deal, to cede territory, to hold elections, and to put off joining NATO.
Meanwhile, Putin has made exactly zero concessions.
Yet it’s #Ukraine who has to “get moving?”
Again, Trump is strong with the weak, and weak with the strong.

“You said the same thing last year!”
🚀 Two bipartisan #USA senators – Graham & Blumenthal – call for giving #Ukraine Tomahawks and ramping up secondary sanctions.
Then Ukraine’s ambassador to #Sweden stands up and says these are the same words as last year, while in the meantime the US reduced 99% of its aid to Ukraine.
☝️ Talk is cheap, especially after the 100th time you’ve said it without acting.
Unless you stand up to Trump instead of golfing with him and calling him better than Reagan, this is all just part of the charade as the US abandons Ukraine and the Free World.

This is what he said in the past (2016?) about Trump:
“He’s a race-baiting xenoph0bic religious big0t.” (Lindsey Graham)

Obama didnt enforce the Budapest agreement, Biden did too little too late, and now Trump if anything is worse, trying to arm twist Ukraine into give up. When will they figure out the US is not going to help enough to matter?

So let me get this straight. You want Europe to embrace your policies. In other words, let’s forget about having joint defense alliances and instead focus on your economic priorities with scum suckers like Russia. Let’s forget about helping in defending a country for its very survival and pay for some freakin (I mean fuckin) gold encrusted ballroom, let’s rename organizations and institutions to Trump so this scum sucking fuckin narcissist sees his name in lites. Rubio if this is your idea of a new world order you can keep and may I add go fuck yourself.
