The Verkhovna Rada’s Temporary Investigative Commission, which is investigating possible violations of defense legislation, anti-corruption laws, and human rights and freedoms during martial law, summoned former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov to a hearing.
The commission’s chairman, Oleksii Honcharenko, a member of parliament from the European Solidarity faction, has announced this.
“We are summoning former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov to a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada’s Temporary Investigative Commission, which will take place on August 31. The commission has a great many questions for Mr. Mykhailo. We would like to receive answers to them,” Honcharenko wrote on Telegram.
The lawmaker did not specify the reasons why the Temporary Investigative Commission had questions for Fedorov.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 18, former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov stated the need to find ways to hold democratic elections despite the full-scale war.
