While putler’s fascist regime continues to murder little Ukrainian children by the hundreds, innocent civilians by the thousands and the degenerates of his armed forces rape Ukrainian women and girls, the Mail’s resident Kremlin troll; Hitchens, continues to spin the narrative their way.  You are an abomination of a human being Hitchens.

“I find myself in disagreement with just about everything Peter Hitchens has written today about Ukraine. I was about to post my comments when I noticed that Michael Steiner has already superbly voiced them at 6:32 AM.
For the sake of argument, let’s just assume that Ukraine was as corrupt and inefficient, Russia as monolithically capable, and the West as weak, vacillating and divided as many here want to believe. Russia would by now have annexed a major European nation, enslaved 44 million people, and enlisted Ukraine’s considerable resources towards its imperial aims.
Far more importantly, Russian military forces, emboldened and empowered by a historic victory, would be on the borders of Rumania, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland, and, together with Russian satellite Belarus, be on the borders of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. All seven of these countries are both in the EU and in NATO.
Peter Hitchens writes that Putin’s invasion was a terrible mistake, as well as a crime. Does anybody believe that if Putin succeeds in annexing Ukraine, he will himself see it as a mistake? Does anybody believe that if Putin succeeds in annexing Ukraine, he will not re-use the same pretexts of having “NATO/EU on Russia’s borders” to move onto the next country?
My view is that the West is dealing with somebody whose agenda is clear enough – the rebuilding of Imperial Russia. The West would have had to push back sooner or later. If there are advantages to waiting until later, I can’t see what these are.”
