5 MARCH 2024

German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has said that French President Emmanuel Macron’s call for Ukraine’s allies “not to be cowards” does not help solve the problems with military support for Ukraine.
Source: Pistorius during a visit to Sweden on 5 March, reported by AFP
Details: Pistorius said that discussions about Western troops in Ukraine or “whether we have more courage or less courage” were not needed.
“This is something that does not really help solve the problems we have when it comes to helping Ukraine,” Pistorius added.
Background:
- Speaking about Russia’s war against Ukraine, Macron said it was time to step up and “not be cowards”.
- Macron said last week that “we cannot rule out” the possibility of sending Western troops to Ukraine. He later added that his words had been carefully considered.
- At the same time, Macron’s statements provoked a negative reaction from the governments of the allied countries, whose leaders were quick to assure that they would not send any troops to Ukraine.

We know that for Germany’s politicians, intelligent thoughts have often followed them, but most are always faster. It’s the same with the Biden administration and the MAGA gangsters, by the way.
Pistorius is only partially right. Talking about Western boots on Ukraine’s ground won’t help the country. Directly. But, it would help if not directly then indirectly. It’s the same situation in which Biden told our worst enemy what we would do and would not do. That’s being dumber than a bag of hammers. I place this sort of behavior equal to exposing military secrets.
I won’t say why Western boots on the ground must be part of our plan. I already have several times. However, I will go another route; psychology.
So, talking SERIOUSLY about using Western troops on the ground raises fears in the faint-of-hearted Western politicians that this would give the moscow rats ammunition for their propaganda, amongst other things. So what??? This would also tell them that their war efforts are getting much more unlikely to see success. The West, if it had foresight and brains, would play along and do what it can to make the mafiosi think that if things turn bad enough in Ukraine, they WILL send troops to support Kyiv. Even if they are too afraid to do so. There is no need to tell the damned enemy everything. This is psychological warfare, and those monkeys just don’t get it. The ruskies do it all the time and catch the West with its pants down every time.
I think that unfortunately we can say with 99% certainty that US boots won’t be on the ground in Ukraine. Because of course Biden has ruled it out and if Trump ever puts boots on Ukrainian soil it will be to help putler.
Marijn Markus, a CapGem AI scientist who comments frequently on LinkedIn, made an interesting point. He said : “I challenge you to find any reference to “Kyiv Nazis” in kremprop any time before 2014.”
It all started very suddenly when Crimea was occupied. In the big UK broadsheet papers, trolls suddenly appeared in comments deploying such terms. A really vile Stalinist tankie named Seumas Milne, who worked for JeremIRA CorbLenin, put out several OpEds in The Guardian that weaponised the term.
In the US, minor tankie shitheads like Noam Chomsky and Jeffrey Sachs chipped in. But it was the far right that made all the running. Breitbart, infowars, ZeroHedge etc created a whole industry of sites that glorified the growing magaputler faction. There are now close to a hundred of them.
Then in the mainstream, Fox started hiring putinoid crud like Carlson, Ingraham, Koffler, Macgregor etc and slowly conservative minds become poisoned by anti-Ukraine hatred, which is where we are now.
As I said before, it is up to one brave country to put combat troops in Ukraine and shame the rest into acting. If it’s going to be France, then that would be a most welcome surprise.
The same thing happened on CNN. After the theft of the Crimea, the reader forum was swarming with roach trolls. It got so bad that CNN closed it down, and It’s been closed ever since.
While Pistorius is right – this war won’t be won by speeches of Western politicians, but by arms, ammunition and manpower – he overlooks the psychological impact a steadfast attitude of Nato leaders will have on the Russian army. It’s certainly helpful to show these increasingly desperate soldiers that the West won’t give up and hand over victory to them, but is willing to up the ante, if necessary. They can’t win by following Putin’s crazy orders, they can’t even survive that way for long, so they need to face reality: It’s either the meat grinder or revolution for them. The reasonable choice should be obvious. 🤨
