France promises to send a “signal” to the dictator.
On Monday, February 26, some 20 European leaders will meet in Paris to send a signal to Russian strongman Putin of Europe’s resolve on Ukraine.
They want to counter the Kremlin’s claims that Russia will “inevitably win the war” against Ukraine, an adviser to President Emmanuel Macron told reporters yesterday. According to him, he is convening an urgent meeting due to the escalation of Russian aggression in the past few weeks.
“We want to send a very clear signal to Putin that he will not win in Ukraine. Our goal is to destroy this idea that he wants us to believe that he will somehow win,” The Guardian quoted Macron’s adviser as saying .

Instead of a three day “special operation”, Russia is in the third year of a full scale war now. This obvious evidence of failure will certainly have an impact on the upcoming election. The ballot fakers will be forced to do overtime to create a somewhat respectable result for Putin. The West can’t influence the Russian people or the phony vote count, but at least it can point out to the Western audience what a colossal failure Putin is. So, it’s good that European governments push back against Russian propaganda. It should be made clear to Putin fans in the EU that they’re on the totally wrong side and supporting an embarassing loser!
The West can’t influence the ‘election’ in any way, but they can refuse to recognise putler as leader of mafia land, and legitimise his election.
