The leaders of the countries had a telephone conversation.
French President Emmanuel Macron is due to arrive in Ukraine in the near future . His visit was announced by Head of State Vladimir Zelensky.
In his Telegram channel, the president said that he had a long and substantive telephone conversation with Macron. They discussed the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine, as well as the results of the International Conference in Support of the Country, which recently took place in Paris.
“I thanked for the strong defense package of February 16, as well as for the personal leadership of the French President in creating a coalition of long-range weapons, new initiatives and all statements in support of Ukraine. In addition, we exchanged views on the expected results of our future meeting in Ukraine in the near future,” – Zelensky added.
