Which countries will be included in this coalition has not yet been revealed.

French President Emmanuel Macron announced the creation of a “coalition” to provide Ukraine with “medium- and long-range missiles and bombs.”

According to the French president, it was decided to “create a coalition for deep strikes and therefore medium- and long-range missiles and bombs,” writes Le Monde .

Macron called on European countries to “produce more” ammunition for Ukraine. “Over the next ten days we are going to make all these efforts. We have been in contact with many European and non-European countries that have ammunition,” he said.

He explained that in the very short term, Europe will be able to provide Ukraine only with the ammunition that it has in its warehouses. “It is clear that we do not have the promised million ammunition,” he admitted.

“Today the initiatives we put forward will be discussed, and in 10 days you will receive a clear answer with a serious agenda,” the French President added, clarifying that not all the details of this initiative can be made public.

    • Sure looks that way. Ok, behind the scenes, German ministry of defence is busy at trying to make ammo deals, it has been reported. But only for shells, not long range missile. Scholz’ cowardly and determined rejection of Taurus delivery left a very bad impression. That’s not the way to prove a security guarantee for another country. 😣

      • I just can’t comprehend how someone can be such a chicken. Maybe putler does have some kompromat on him, but then Germany wouldn’t have grown to be the number two military donor to Ukraine. I just understand the guy one bit. His behavior is actually increasing the chance for war with mafia land, not reducing it. The rats in moscow understand and fear only strength. They feed on weakness.

  1. Well, you’ve got to give him that – Macron knows how to find the right words. Even better if they are followed up by action. Once again, France takes the lead in the EU.

  2. Btw: “The Netherlands will allocate more than €100 million for shells for Ukraine”

This makes the 30 millions of the much larger country Canada look somewhat stingy. “Every little helps”, as a UK supermarket chain states, but small contributions make it difficult to reach big numbers. A more robust support would be helpful. Just look at the small country that can, the Netherlands! 😎👍
