At the Lukoil oil refinery  (refinery ) in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation, the largest primary oil processing unit has been stopped, writes the Russian ” Kommersant ” with reference to a source at the company.

According to him, the installation was stopped after the fire due to a drone attack.

According to Reuters sources , the AVT-6 installation, which provides more than 50% of the refinery’s production, was damaged as a result of the UAV attack at the refinery. It is known that the plant processes about 15.8 million tons of Russian oil per year, or 5.8% of the total volume of processing.
