Lukashenko said he was ready to accept 150,000 Pakistanis in Belarus

The self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that his country is ready to accept 100-150 thousand labor migrants from Pakistan. This became known on April 11 during a meeting between the Belarusian dictator and Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Belta reports .

According to Lukashenko, there are many people in Pakistan who can and want to work in Belarus.

“We will do everything to ensure that our Pakistani friends, workers, peasants, intellectuals – all those who wish – can come to Belarus and work here. We will provide them with appropriate support. We also agreed that we will develop a specific mechanism for people to come to work in Belarus. We will really need them,” the dictator said.

To this end, Lukashenko even initiated the opening of a direct flight between Islamabad and Minsk.

“If we attract labor resources from Pakistan to Belarus, and this will happen, people need fast air transport. We are ready to work in this direction and go our own way,” he said.
