Lukashenko calls U.S. elections disgrace and mockery of democracy

President of Belarus believes that it is necessary to demand the holding of re-elections in USA

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko commented on the US presidential elections and called them a disgrace, as well as a mockery of democracy. He stated this at a meeting with journalists during his visit to the Belarusian nuclear power plant, BelTA informs.

“The bulwark of democracy. Look what is happening with these elections. This is a disgrace, a mockery of this democracy,” Lukashenko said.

He added that the US elections are being held with serious violations, and the Western countries and the OSCE will be afraid to demand re-elections, as they demand from Belarus.

“Next week we will see this comedy at the finish line. This is already a comedy and a disgrace for all democracy. And it’s good that this happened, that we saw the essence of this democracy. This is chatter. Only the strong and those who can stand firmly are respected in the world. We will stand,” Lukashenko summed up.

The presidential elections were held in the USA on November 3. The candidates for the post of the 46th president of the country are Republican and incumbent head of state Donald Trump, as well as Democrat Joe Biden, who is currently the leader of the presidential race.

  1. “Only the strong and those who can stand firmly are respected in the world.”

That counts you out then Luka. I very much doubt that Trump will go running to Russia begging for help, or Biden supporters will be tortured in prison. Democracy is not perfect, but I will take it over your fascism any day of the week.

  2. A filthy dick-tator, who has just created a huge scandal by rigging his own elections in such a scale that hardly a nation on earth sees him as a leader anymore, who arrests, beats, tortures and kills his opponents – even women! – who has zero knowledge about what democracy even is, and who caters continuously to a known Mafiosi for help, who also perpetually stomps on human rights, chastises the elections in the United States.
What is wrong with this concept?
    Simply everything!

  3. Big words from the Ex-President of Belarus, You got 3% and refused to step down. You are attacking people who disagree with this.

  4. Lukashenko: We have democracy in Belarus. Opposition can even vote if they want. Off course for stability of the State we burn these votes in the backyard of the voting stations. Then we start counting the votes in a very democratic way! Also this time I got over 80% of the votes. I love my people!
