Alexander Lukashenko said that if a war with Ukraine had begun, it would have lasted “three or four days.”

He said this in an interview with Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov.

“No, we live too comfortably. Comfort is very important… It’s just on a human level,” Lukashenka said in response to a question about whether he sees the possibility of a big war in Europe.

In addition, according to the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, the West understands the alleged futility of a war with the forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

“What did the CSTO show (apparently, we are talking about the events in Kazakhstan – UNIAN)? By the time they deploy there and send some troops here, we will already be standing at the English Channel. … How many forces did we have there? Nothing at all “, but we showed. And if necessary, these forces would have increased there. We are near Almaty, and Putin in Nursultan took control of the airports. … It will be easier in Europe. Don’t they see this? Therefore, they understand that it is futile to fight with us, first of all, with Russia. We are not talking about some kind of nuclear and other weapons. But it’s better not to touch us. Don’t touch us,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

Propagandist Solovyov, in turn, said that the West does not want to fight the CSTO, but allegedly plans to provoke a conflict with Ukraine.

“It’s clear. Ukraine will never fight with us: this war will last, well, a maximum of three or four days. There will be no one there to fight against us. Those who are shown there with these wooden machine guns, how they train … So we will go out with you now to the next hall and we will film this training session on a mobile phone and show it,” Lukashenka replied.

As UNIAN reported earlier, according to Western media, the United States intelligence received information about a Russian plan to fabricate a  pretext for the invasion of Ukraine using a fake video . According to the script in the video, the Russians wanted to depict an attack by the Ukrainian military on the territory of the Russian Federation or on the Russian-speaking population in the Donbass. Informed sources of publications noted that this plan was approved at the highest level in Moscow.
