The self-appointed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who facilitated the invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine, claims that he does not seek to fight in Ukraine.

“They are still trying to drag us into the war in Ukraine. The goal is the same – to deal with both Russia and Belarus in one fell swoop. They allegedly worry, they say from Ukraine that they would not want Belarusian troops to invade Ukraine across the northern border,” Lukashenka said.

At the same time, Lukashenka does not say anything about what helps the Russian army to fire rockets at Ukrainian cities from the territory of Belarus, nor does he say that in February Russian occupation troops invaded Ukraine from the territory of Belarus.

At the same time, Lukashenka’s statements contradict reality, since it seems to him that in Ukraine they will allegedly be “glad” that Belarusian troops enter the territory of Ukraine.

“They would be happy (I know this for sure) if we entered there. They need it, because it was ordered “from there”, and they don’t give a damn about the death of civilians. Ukrainian politicians and the president have one policy: the more Ukrainians die, the more he will shout to the whole world about the atrocities of “fascists from Russia and Belarus”. Once again I repeat to you what I said a year or more ago: we do not seek to fight in Ukraine. We absolutely do not need this war,” Lukashenka says.
