On Wednesday, May 18, the Luhansk region was left without electricity, the last large substation was de-energized.

This was announced by the chairman of the Luhansk regional military administration Sergei Gaidai.

“About an hour ago, the light went out in those houses in the region where it still remained. Active hostilities are underway near Lisichansk, there is a hit on a 220 kV power line,” he wrote.

The Russians de-energized and damaged the last powerful electrical substation.

“The damage is very serious. Repair is impossible until the cessation of hostilities,” Gaidai wrote.

Earlier it was reported that throughout the territory of the Luhansk region there  is no electricity and water supply , the invaders are stealing gas from the gas pipeline in Novopskov.

According to Gaidai, there are almost no surviving life support facilities in the Luhansk region.

“The vast majority of critical infrastructure will have to be built from scratch. Some power lines can still be repaired, but constant shelling in areas of damaged areas does not allow. Now there is no power supply everywhere in the region. Only electric generators work. There is no centralized water supply,”  he added .

  1. There is no solution to this horrible behaviour. Only real sanctions that completely destroy their economy and cause mass starvation will have any effect. Plus the total destruction of their filthy orcs.
