According to him, Ukraine does not blame the West for Russia’s crimes, but it has the right to talk about indecision.

President Volodymyr Zelensky has invited former German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Nicolas Sarkozy to visit Bucha and see what the policy of concessions to Russia has led to in 14 years.
He said this in a video message.
“Today is the fourteenth anniversary of the NATO summit in Bucharest. Then there was a chance to take Ukraine out of the “gray zone” in Eastern Europe. From the “gray zone” between NATO and Russia. From the gray zone, which Moscow thinks that everything is allowed here. Even the worst war crimes.Behind the optimistic diplomatic formulations that Ukraine could allegedly become a member of NATO, then, in 2008, the refusal to accept Ukraine into the Alliance was hidden. The absurd fear of Russia was hidden by some politicians. They thought that by refusing Ukraine, they will be able to reassure Russia, they will be able to convince her to respect Ukraine and live normally next to us,” the president said.
Zelensky stressed that 14 years after that erroneous calculation, Ukraine survived the revolution and eight years of war in the Donbass, “and now we are fighting for life in the most terrible war in Europe since World War II.”
“I invite Mrs. Merkel and Mr. Sarkozy to visit Bucha and see what the policy of concessions to Russia has led to for 14 years. To see with their own eyes the tortured Ukrainians and Ukrainian women,” he said.
Zelensky stressed that Ukraine does not accuse the West of Russia’s war crimes.
“We do not blame anyone, except for the specific Russian military who did this against our people. Except for those who gave them orders. But we have the right to talk about indecision. About what was the path to such Bucha, to such Gostomel, to such “Kharkov, to this Mariupol. We have no indecision. Whatever bloc or outside of the bloc we are, we understand one thing: we must be strong. 14 years ago, the Russian leader in Bucharest told Western leaders that there is no such country as Ukraine. And we prove that there is such a country. It was and will be,” the head of state stressed.

God I love this president’s messaging ability. Churchill once said that diplomacy is being able to tell someone to go to hell in such a way they ask for directions
Those two pieces of dog shit will never go there. They won’t even admit their guilt.
