“Logistics were practically cut off”: the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the evacuation of the occupiers from the Kinburn Spit

06/23/2026

As a result of the work of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the logistics of the Russian troops on the Kinburn Spit have been destroyed. Due to the fact that the supply of ammunition, fuel and food has been stopped, the enemy has begun evacuation.

This information was confirmed by the commander of the operational-tactical group “Odessa”, Colonel Denis Nosikov. As ” Kherson Online ” reports, he referred to intelligence data.

This is the first official confirmation of the evacuation of Russians from the military command – after the partisan movement “Atesh” reported on June 8 the withdrawal of the 337th Russian regiment.

“Now, together with the forces and means of senior commanders from the Southern Military District, we have practically cut off the logistics of the occupiers on the spit. The supply of ammunition, food, and fuel has actually stopped. A soldier will not be able to fight without food and fresh water. Therefore, according to intelligence, they are currently being evacuated,” Nosikov said.

What’s happening on the spit

The 337th Airborne Assault Regiment of the Russian Federation, the main combat unit on the Kinburn Spit, has found itself in a logistical collapse. According to Atesh agents embedded in the headquarters of the Dnipro group, units are being withdrawn from the coastline from the northern and western parts of the spit for several reasons at once.

The first is that supplies have completely stopped: the Russians have no ammunition, no fuel, no food. The second is critical personnel losses: some of the fighters were transferred to the Zaporizhia direction even earlier, where Russia is experiencing an acute shortage of infantry, and replenishment has not arrived even once.

And the third reason is that the occupiers’ fire groups are unable to shoot down Ukrainian UAVs, so the drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine methodically destroy any enemy transport trying to reach the spit.

Meanwhile, the spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, Vladislav Voloshin, confirmed that logistics are significantly complicated, but urged not to rush to conclusions about a complete withdrawal. According to him, there are two roads leading to the spit, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine keep both under fire control. Voloshin said that the 337th regiment is currently being transformed into a separate motorized rifle regiment of the 58th Russian Army.

Kinburn Spit is located in the Mykolaiv district of the Mykolaiv region, 4.0-7.5 km from Ochakov. It is an extension of the Kinburn Peninsula and partially separates the Black Sea from the Dnieper-Bug estuary.

Geography gives the spit strategic importance: whoever controls it controls the entrance to the Dnieper and the Southern Bug, and therefore the approach to the ports of Mykolaiv and Kherson. That is why Russia kept troops there despite all the difficulties of supply, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine methodically destroyed every transport corridor.

As OBOZ.UA wrote, shortly before the fourth anniversary of the occupation (June 8), the Atesh partisans transmitted stunning information: the Russian Armed Forces had presumably left a strip of land between the Dnieper-Bug Estuary and the Black Sea, located on the edge of the Kinburn Peninsula.

Atesh reported that the invaders’ supply was “completely disrupted” by the work of Ukrainian UAVs. Vital supplies of ammunition, fuel, and food were completely stopped, and most of the servicemen of the 337th Airborne Regiment of the Russian Federation were redeployed to other locations.

  1. Ukraine’s mid-range strike campaign is bearing fruit. This would make it the first confirmed retreat of the cockroach army because of logistics problems.

  2. The occupation of the Spit went on for far too long. Obviously if it was easy, the defenders would have kicked them out long ago.
It really is extraordinarily difficult to dislodge fucking orcs even from an extremely geographically disadvantageous position like this.
Just imagine the size of the task to drive the fuckers out of Crimea. How many troops would be needed and what would be the losses?
Meanwhile the vermin are causing another headache. DT today :

“Russian troops have infiltrated Ukraine’s fortress belt city of Kostyantynivka, a crucial gateway to the rest of the Donbas.

Ukrainian soldiers said the entire city, which is part of the country’s eastern defences, was effectively in a “grey zone”, no longer controlled by either side. Russia’s defence ministry claimed its forces had intensified operations in the south-west of the city, surrounding Ukrainian units.

The advance has fuelled concerns that Moscow is attempting to encircle and capture Kostyantynivka, which could open the way towards Kramatorsk and Slovyansk, Ukraine’s last major strongholds in eastern Donetsk.

A Ukrainian drone pilot operating in the city told the BBC: “They get into areas behind our backs, and in urban conditions it’s extremely difficult to push them out.” The pilot said the situation had become a “major crisis”.

    • The city should be better protected. But the Ukrainians are still doing a great job stabilizing the frontline and even gaining a bit of ground here and there, though it’s difficult to get every kilometer of the war zone stabilized.
